This is an opportunity to join a small, highly capable engineering team responsible for building and supporting business-critical platforms and services. You''ll have genuine ownership over the solutions you develop, working across design, implementation, testing and production while collaborating closely with Product and wider business stakeholders. The role is heavily focused on modern Back End Python engineering, particularly the development of high-throughput, message-driven platforms and API-first services. They are looking for someone with strong engineering judgement who can design for scale, make pragmatic technical decisions and solve complex problems without unnecessarily over-engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable Back End services using Python 3.10+ and FastAPI. Build high-performance, reliable and maintainable RESTful APIs and API-first services. Develop solutions within message-driven and event-driven architectures. Take ownership of technical problems from initial design through to implementation and production.
