Senior Python Developer - Data Modelling, Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, Collibra, REST APIs, SQL, JSON, YAML, Git, CI/CD, Automated Testing, AI-assisted Development, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP, Informatica, Data Modelling, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Quality Seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to deliver enterprise data modelling and governance solutions within a regulated financial services environment. Key requirements: Strong Python, Pydantic andamp; FastAPI experience. Hands-on Collibra or similar data governance/metadata platform experience. Expertise in data modelling, metadata, lineage, data quality and APIs. Experience with SQL, JSON/YAML, Git, testing and CI/CD. Financial services experience, ideally risk, compliance or regulatory. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT or Cursor. Strong stakeholder, analytical and problem-solving skills. Desirable: Collibra integrations/APIs, cloud/data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) and regulatory frameworks such as BCBS 239, GDPR and DORA.
