Senior Purchasing Manager (Non-Foods) - Maternity Cover. Central London based, hybrid working available (3 days per week in the office). This is a maternity contract cover for around 9-12 months. Salary: Competitive plus cash car allowance and bonus. Working Pattern: Full Time. Contract Type: Permanent. Closing Date: Tue 30 Sep 2025 - 12:00 AM.Responsibilities

Develop the non-food categories and its strategic plans.Support delivery of sustainability and net zero targets.Deliver improved commercials by adopting strong procurement practices, and propose innovative solutions through effective suppliers, products, and contract management.Organise tenders/e-auctions.Spend in control c. £10m per annum.Stakeholder management, both internal and external, including supplier and distributor management and contract negotiation.Oversee the implementation of the category plan to ensure procurement activities deliver the expected business value.Research and identify products and added value suppliers following strategic sourcing practices.Monitor and forecast stock levels within the categories, liaising with internal distribution and distributors to maximise availability.Manage various service contracts to deliver KPIs.Your Skills and Experience

Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within hospitality, foodservice or a buying organisation in a purchasing/supply chain function.Strong analytical, numerical skills and commercial acumen.Ability to implement excellent procurement practices, manage large volumes of data and information.Planning and project management skills.Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.Speaking a second language would be a great asset for this role.CIPS or working toward is an advantage.National/international travel to suppliers and trade shows required.Up to 20% bonus scheme.Car allowance (£5.7K).Bupa healthcare (dental and medical).Hybrid working available (3 days per week in the office).Monthly pay day drinks, with pizza and Peroni and Prosecco.Regular team socials with the opportunity to visit our suppliers.Benefits portal and Mental Health First Aiders across the business.Employee Assistance Programme, providing health, finance, and wellbeing advice.Who we are
