Share Communications – Senior PR ManagerWe’re looking for a dynamic, motivated and hard-working Senior PR Manager to join our team at Share Communications.Share Comms is a boutique PR agency, focused on the investment sector. We are a team of proactive PR professionals helping our investment and wealth manager clients cut through the noise to build and protect their media profile with thoughtful communication.Everything we do is tailored, strategic and built around a deep understanding of our clients and the media that matters to them.This is a senior-level role, ideal for someone with financial services PR experience who is confident in leading client relationships and spotting opportunities to elevate client coverage.Job Details
Full-timeHybrid – Holborn, London and WFH£40-48k salary band (DOE)Responsibilities
Lead multiple client accounts as the day-to-day senior contact – setting strategy, overseeing delivery, and maintaining trusted relationships with clients.Develop and execute tailored PR strategies, including campaigns, thought leadership, issues management and media outreach.Provide senior counsel to clients on reputation, positioning and media approach - including on complex or sensitive issues.Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and editors across national, broadcast and trade media.Identify and secure new opportunities to elevate client coverage – whether this ties to market trends, news events or new sectors and formats.Track market developments – from regulation to macroeconomic shifts – to inform advice and ensure media relevance.Draft and edit high-quality press materials, commentaries, messaging docs and briefing notes.Support with media training and briefing senior spokespeople.Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing work and helping develop their PR skills.Contribute to new business proposals and pitches, drawing on your media knowledge and sector experience and be willing to present confidently to prospective clients.Help shape the agency’s direction and play a part in growing the business.Understand and support in managing third party providers such as media monitoring and licensing.Qualifications
Experience working in a PR agency or in-house communications role, with experience of financial services PRUnderstanding of the investment landscape and financial media – experience with investment firms, fund managers and/or platforms is a big plusExcellent written and verbal communication, with great attention to detailStrong media instincts – you know how to spot a media hook or interesting theme and tailor a pitchA solid understanding of how journalists work and, ideally, a book of contacts relevant to the financial service sectorHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesA collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to a positive, supportive culture as a team-playerCalm, flexible and reliable – someone who gets things done and is prepared to go the extra mile - a resilient multi-taskerA natural instinct for PR, including strong people skills and confident interaction in meetingsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office suite – experience with managing LinkedIn pages, using Canva, Slack, Trello or media monitoring tools is a bonusWhat we offer
