Job DescriptionJob Title:

Senior Project PlannerRole Purpose:The Senior Planner will support the delivery of substation and overhead line infrastructure projects during the construction and commissioning phases. This role involves developing and managing project schedules, ensuring alignment with NEC contract requirements, and supporting cross-functional teams in the successful execution of complex infrastructure works.Key Responsibilities:Develop, update and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft ProjectLead planning input during construction and commissioning phasesEnsure programmes meet NEC contract obligationsConduct progress tracking, delay analysis and performance reporting (including earned value)Support time impact assessments and extension of time claimsIntegrate subcontractor schedules into the overall master programmeProduce look-ahead programmes, resource forecasts and S-curvesEngage with internal teams, clients and third parties to ensure accurate and timely planning informationIdentify risks and opportunities, and support mitigation strategiesCandidate Requirements:5+ years of planning experience on utility infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of construction and commissioning processesProficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft ProjectSolid working knowledge of NEC contractsAbility to analyse project delays and provide substantiated claims supportExcellent communication and reporting ..... full job details .....
