Senior Project Planner
to join our growing Major Projects Delivery team. This is more than a job; it''s a chance to make a real impact on your community by helping to deliver critical environmental and infrastructure improvements.
You will collaborate with a national team on projects primarily within water sector Design and Construction (DandC). You will be instrumental in all project phases—from pre-construction and design to final delivery—developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Within the region, you’ll have the opportunity to work on Welsh Water’s Engineering Consultancy Framework and South West Water’s Engineering Consultancy Framework. The role can be based from any of our offices in the region, including Birmingham, Redditch, Bristol, Exeter, Derby and Cardiff.
You will be joining a collaborative, supportive team, working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. At Stantec, we are committed to our people. About YouYou will be highly skilled in managing complex projects and programmes using Primavera P6 and have the ability to lead programmes autonomously providing value through consulting. You will be happy working collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders and have the capability to share your knowledge and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Experience managing change within DandC in P6 in accordance with the contract and client requirements
Solid understanding of DandC sequencing and interfaces
Familiarity with NEC 3 and NEC 4 contracts
Previous experience in the water sector is beneficial but not essential
