Senior Project Planner

Shape the success of complex major projects by driving programme certainty, schedule performance and project controls excellence.Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Planning Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Glasgow.Role Purpose: Independently apply advanced schedule management techniques across projects and programmes within a highly regulated environment.Develop, maintain, analyse and report integrated project schedules.Provide project controls expertise including planning, forecasting, schedule risk management and earned value management.Ensure alignment between scheduling, financial and material demand toolsets.Support successful project delivery through robust planning, governance and stakeholder engagement. Job Role Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain project structures including WBS, OBS, RBS and CBS.Develop, baseline, maintain and update integrated project schedules (Levels 1-3), ensuring alignment with Level 4 and Level 5 schedules where applicable.Ensure alignment between scheduling, financial and material demand toolsets.Monitor schedule performance, critical path activities and key project milestones, providing regular reporting, analysis and forecasting.Produce and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules, resource profiles and financial forecasting information.Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis, critical path analysis, schedule impact assessments and what-if scenario planning.Produce and interpret Earned ..... full job details .....
