You’ll be at the heart of one of the UK’s most critical defence programmes. This is your opportunity to lead integrated scheduling across complex engineering projects, ensuring delivery confidence and operational excellence. You’ll make a real impact by aligning planning outputs with financial and strategic goals, helping to safeguard national security and support the Royal Navy’s fleet readiness.Day-to-day you’ll be:Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules and planning structures.Aligning schedules with financial forecasts and material demand.Providing schedule metrics, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making.Coaching and leading a team of project planners to ensure compliance with planning standards.Driving continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement across Fleet ProgrammesThis role is full time, 36 hours per week Monday to Thursday and is based on site at HMNB Clyde Faslane.Essential experience of the Senior Project PlannerExtensive experience in a similar environment or sector (ideally defence, engineering, or infrastructure).Full project lifecycle experience from initiation to closure.Advanced knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.Familiarity with contracting methodologies including FIDIC, NEC, and JCT.Expertise in quantitative risk analysis to support forecasting and mitigation planning.Qualifications for the Senior Project PlannerLevel 6 qualification in a relevant discipline (bachelor’s degree or higher).Primavera 106P Advanced Project Management certification.APM Project Management Qualification.APM Project Professional Qualification.Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
