This role is pivotal in delivering employment support projects, part-funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). You will focus on generating employment, apprenticeship, and industry placement opportunities through effective business development and employer relationship management.Day-to-day of the role:Stay informed on local labour market trends and news.Regularly identify and generate new employment, apprenticeship, and placement opportunities.Maintain and enhance existing employer relationships, providing necessary support.Attend networking events to establish and nurture working relationships with business leads, promoting the Employment and Skills Service offer.Understand the programme in-depth to support staff in achieving targets.Contribute to the continuous improvement of employment projects, updating senior colleagues on progress.Collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen relationships.Plan and organise workload efficiently and effectively.Monitor service delivery to ensure resources are utilised to their maximum efficiency.Work with the Strategic Support Coordinator to find innovative solutions to employers'' workforce development or recruitment needs.Identify potential risks and opportunities, initiating solutions and ..... full job details .....
