Overview
Turner and Townsend is seeking experienced Project Managers to develop their career into senior positions within our Midlands team. You will work on a range of industry-leading infrastructure projects and be supported in finding the right role within transportation, utilities and highways for our client base.Responsibilities
Lead project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large or complex projects.Act as the key day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time, cost targets and quality standards.Adhere to project governance, processes and systems; prepare and maintain master project plans and activity schedules.Develop and implement resource plans, procure resources, and lead cross-functional project teams.Monitor performance using KPIs and apply performance management techniques to improve project outcomes.Manage change control and develop and agree budgets, monitoring forecast versus actual costs.Manage project information flow between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.Identify and monitor project risks and implement risk mitigations.Prepare formal project progress and other reports; interface with the client, other consultants and stakeholders at all project stages.Advise the client on Health and Safety and Environmental issues and risks; plan for ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment.Qualifications
Candidates will ideally be degree qualified (Civil Engineering).Experience on large scheme projects (£100m+).Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS, etc. preferred.Additional Information
