Senior Project Manager - SEL Pharmacy Homecare Transformation

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile transformation programme that will shape the future of pharmacy homecare services across South East London. Working jointly with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and the South East London Integrated Care Board, the Senior Project Manager will deliver a system-wide programme to modernise, harmonise, and sustain homecare medicines services.
The postholder will play a pivotal role in improving patient access, ensuring financial sustainability, and developing a collaborative SEL homecare model. This role will work across organisational boundaries, engaging with Chief Pharmacists, clinical teams, finance and commissioning colleagues, NHS England, community pharmacy, homecare providers, and patient groups to deliver lasting system change.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the South East London Pharmacy Homecare Transformation Programme, providing overall programme management and delivery across multiple Trusts and system partners.
Key Duties Include
Establishing programme governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement structures.Leading prescribing harmonisation across Trusts and supporting pilots such as EPS/CLEO prescribing into community pharmacy.Developing and delivering a transformation roadmap for a collaborative or centralised SEL homecare function.Ensuring robust financial planning, tracking VAT savings, and identifying cost-effective supply models.Coordinating with pharmacy clinical teams, finance, commissioning, NHS England colleagues, and patient representatives to deliver sustainable change.Overseeing development of performance dashboards and KPIs to ensure delivery against key milestones and system benefits.Ensuring programme delivery complies with NHS legislation, governance frameworks, and Trust policies.
The role requires strong partnership working, programme management expertise, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders to achieve system-wide improvements.
