Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join our National Programmes team based in our London Office. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate to join and strengthen our team, in particular our public sector works.
Role Responsibilities
Carrying out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and proceduresComply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategiesTake personal accountability for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality StandardsManagement and preparation of key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and post-handoverEnsuring business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstancesPreparation of various programmesManagement of meetings, taking and preparation of minutesPreparation of progress reports and presentation at monthly client meetingsRunning bidding process including managing queries from tendering contractorsManaging multiple projects on ‘LIVE’ operational sitesAssistance with the preparation of contract documentsManagement of multi-disciplinary project teamsExperience of administering building contractsManaging the design, HandS and commercial processFull ownership from project brief to final completion and occupation
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.
Experience
Experience managing a range of projects from conception through to completion, in particular experience with
Public sector, blue light clients and departmentsNEC/JCT ContractsFramework experience desirable
Consultancy experience desirableFamiliarity with design processA track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlinesDrafting proposalsAbility to identify and develop potential opportunities to secure more business for RLBExcellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbalExcellent customer service, communication and client/external interface skillsA track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlinesQualifications
Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar roleIdeally MRICS or equivalent professional qualification, or working towards thisNEC Accredited Project Manager desirable, but course would be offered if not
