We’re hiring a Senior Project Manager for the North to support the next stage of our growth. Reporting to our Property Director, you’ll play a vital role in delivering all our new builds, including meeting the highest standards, completed on time, and set up the operations team for successful openings. The successful candidate will have a solid background in construction and project management, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to deliver exceptional results. Collaborate with the acquisitions team to assess potential new build sites and conduct thorough technical assessmentsDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for each new buildCoordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to move projects efficiently through the design and costing phaseIdentify and engage reliable contractors, suppliers, and vendors for the construction phaseSupervise on-site build dates, making sure construction progress is on track and adheres to the agreed schedule and quality standardsRegular site inspections ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policiesResponsible for financial oversight and reporting of each project, including cost control, tracking expenses, and managing budget variationsMaintain clear and regular communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and relevant authorities throughout the project life-cycleOversee necessary surveys to identify potential challenges that may affect project timescalesEnsure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget constraintsQualifications and skills
Proven experience as a project manager in property development or constructionStrong knowledge of technical requirements related to building infrastructure (power, water, drainage, HVAC) and relevant surveys (asbestos, drainage)Familiarity with construction regulations, permits, and compliance standardsExcellent organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teamsProblem-solving and decision-making skills to address unforeseen challenges during the project lifecycleFinancial acumen and proficiency in budget management to deliver projects within established financial constraintsProject management certifications would be advantageousFamiliarity with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or a casual dining environment is idealBenefits
