Senior Project Manager
to work with the
Energy Team
on the

We strive to innovate and maintain strong relationships with major energy providers in multiple countries.A day in the life of a Murphy Senior Project Manager:Be fully accountable for the delivery of projects, ensuring safety, on-time completion, contract alignment and budget adherence.Set the overall standard on projects/contracts.Identify and deliver project requirements.Identify issues and resolve them in a controlled and timely manner.Ensure contract programmes are planned, reviewed and delivered.Line management of Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and Section Managers.Maintain effective client relationships and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders on project progress.Ensure operating plans provide sufficient resources and materials.Resolve most operational issues with business-critical issues referred to the Project Director.Manage all commercial activities, including gross margin delivery, cost control and other key metrics.Oversee subcontractor performance in line with cost and margin requirements.Qualifications and experienceExperience delivering HV Transmission and Distribution or Major Civils projects.Experience in a Senior Project Managerial role.HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5 (or Degree).Experience on complex multi-discipline Enhancement projects, delivering within programme and cost controls.What’s in it for you?27 days holiday, plus bank holidays with option to buy additional days; holidays increase with length of service.Discretionary annual bonus and annual salary review.Above market rate contributory pension scheme.Life assurance, health screening and enhanced sick pay.Enhanced maternity and paternity pay and a maternity returners bonus.Extra weeks’ holiday for weddings and a wedding bonus.Subsidised canteen facilities in core locations.Dedicated investment in your professional development.Other Murphy benefits include retail discounts, cashback, discounted gym memberships, cycle to work scheme, etc.About MurphyMurphy is recognised as a sector-leading employer and Gold Investors in People accredited, with an expanding order book and ongoing investment in environmentally friendly plant.
