Job Title: Senior Project Manager - MigrationsContract Type: PermanentLocation: Alderley Edge or EdinburghWorking style: Hybrid 50% home/office basedThis is a unique opportunity to join Royal London at the start of building a dedicated capability to lead and deliver migration projects across the organisation. We are looking for an exceptional individual who has delivered multiple migration projects, ideally within a Life and Pensions environment, and would relish the chance to use their experience to help shape how we do things here.You will strive to ensure business outcomes are clearly understood and associated solutions are delivered to enable the business to realise benefits on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.You will take overall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the whole change lifecycle for projects covering both Business and Technical driven migrations, creating a reusable strategy and approach.About the roleLead end-to-end project management for migration projects within the organization.Develop and implement comprehensive migration plans, including strategy, scope, resources, and documentation.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption during migrations.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions.Coordinate with stakeholders to include their requirements and communicate effectively with project teams.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.Develop a migration practice including tools, templates, policies, and partnerships to expand capabilities.About youExperience leading complex migration projects with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in ETL or ELT migration tools and staging areas.Ability to translate complex data requirements for a business audience.Proven ability to work in ambiguous environments and collaborate across areas.Interpersonal skills to influence change and enhance performance.Experience delivering reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations to various audiences.Ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders and sponsors.About Royal LondonWe’re the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions, and investment company, offering protection, long-term savings, and asset management products.Our goal is to create an inclusive, responsible, enjoyable, and fulfilling workplace, underpinned by our Spirit of Royal London values: Empowered, Trustworthy, Collaborate, Achieve.We offer great benefits, including 28 days of annual leave, up to 14% employer pension matching, and private medical insurance.Inclusion, diversity, and belongingWe celebrate and value diverse backgrounds and cultures.
