SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, MAJOR PROJECTS Location: South West LondonWorking arrangement: Three days per week on siteRate: £500 to £550 per day UmbrellaContract: InterimIR35 status: Inside IR35 ROLE OVERVIEW A London local authority is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex construction, redevelopment and community-focused capital projects, with responsibility for contracts valued up to £35 million. The successful candidate will manage projects from initial concept through design, planning, procurement, construction and completion. You will take responsibility for project programmes, budgets, consultants, contractors, governance, risk and stakeholder engagement. This is a senior delivery role requiring strong experience of major capital projects within complex urban environments. Previous local authority or wider public sector experience is highly desirable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead major construction and redevelopment projects from inception through to completion Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards Develop and maintain project plans, programmes, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation Manage construction contracts, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams Coordinate feasibility, design, planning, procurement, tendering, construction and handover activities Monitor project expenditure, forecasts, funding and cost controls Identify and secure internal ..... full job details .....
