Solar PV Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

Deliver Renewable Energy Projects That Actually Make an Impact

• We’re looking for an experienced Solar PV Project Manager or Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of commercial and industrial renewable energy projects across the UK.
• This is a key role within a growing renewable energy business, where you’ll take ownership of end-to-end Solar PV installations, supporting the transition to low-carbon energy across commercial environments.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Managing the full lifecycle delivery of Solar PV and renewable energy projects (design through to commissioning)
• Overseeing multiple concurrent projects across commercial and industrial sites
• Acting as the primary client interface, ensuring excellent stakeholder and customer management
• Coordinating EPC delivery, including subcontractors, site teams, and internal engineering functions
• Managing project budgets, cost control, and programme timelines
• Leading health & safety planning, RAMS, and compliance across sites
• Supporting grid connection processes, permits, and DNO applications
• Working closely with design teams on technical specifications and system layouts
• Ensuring high-quality project documentation and handover packs

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Solar PV, Electrical, Construction, or Renewable Energy projects
• Strong understanding of commercial solar installations, electrical systems, or infrastructure delivery
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams simultaneously
• Confident in budget management, reporting, and programme delivery
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations within construction or energy environments
• Experience working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
