Senior Project Manager (Highways and Transport)

Our client, a local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their highways operations. Position: Senior Project ManagerRate: £351.55 a day (Umbrella)Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)Duties: Lead the delivery of complex highways, transport and public realm projects from inception through to completion. Manage projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, option development, business case preparation, design etc. Strategic stakeholder and funding management, ensuring the successful delivery of schemes supporting the transport, regeneration and climate change priorities. Develop and maintain project programmes, risk registers, project plans and governance documentation. Job Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Transport Planning, Engineering or Urban Design PRINCE2, APM, MSP or equivalent project/programme management qualification. Experience delivering TfL-funded programmes. Knowledge of London local authority governance and decision-making processes. Experience of delivering complex urban corridor or town centre transformation programmes.
