Overview
Gleeds is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Greater Manchester area. This is a permanent, full-time role with flexible working and core hours, located in Manchester or surrounding areas (mixture of local office, home and client sites).Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectivesPositively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationshipsDelivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirementsManaging projects and/or programmes to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business proceduresAdministering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project managerProducing and presenting to customersMentoring and coaching employees so that they realise their full potentialPreparing bids for servicesManaging service delivery for profitAdvising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insuranceWho we’re looking for
Sound project management and/or programme management experience post qualificationSound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniquesAbility to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent and/or Project ManagerClear understanding of legislation impacting on building contractsExcellent communication skills - both oral and writtenMethodical way of thinking and approach to workAbility to absorb complex information and assess requirements readilyExcellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skillsSound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work as part of a team and manage teamsQualifications
