Senior Project Manager

An established Tier 1 main contractor is looking to appoint a high-calibre Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role on a major commercial redevelopment in Birmingham.This is a significant opportunity to join a high-profile project involving complex cut-and-carve works, refurbishment and high-quality commercial fit-out. Working as the number two on site to the Project Director, you will take a leading role in the day-to-day delivery of the scheme, helping drive programme, quality, safety and commercial performance across a complex construction environment.This position would suit an ambitious Senior Project Manager who has already delivered major projects within a Tier 1 main contracting environment and is ready to take on greater responsibility on a landmark redevelopment.The RoleReporting directly to the Project Director, you will be instrumental in leading the site team and ensuring the successful delivery of the project from construction through to completion and handover.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the Project Director in the overall leadership and delivery of a major commercial redevelopment.Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of site operations.Leading and motivating project teams, package managers and subcontractors to deliver against programme, budget and quality objectives.Overseeing complex cut-and-carve, structural alteration, refurbishment and commercial fit-out activities.Driving programme performance, ..... full job details .....
