The Opportunity

A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a major substation project as part of a significant UK infrastructure upgrade programme. This is a high-profile scheme involving greenfield site development, complex civil works, and large-scale construction activity.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a flagship project within the UK''s evolving energy infrastructure sector.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end construction delivery on a large-scale project (-30m+)
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme performance
• Drive HSE compliance and quality standards on site
• Oversee design coordination and procurement
• Take commercial ownership (budget, risk, delivery outcomes)

What We''re Looking For

• Senior Project Manager / Project Manager background in civils or infrastructure
• Experience delivering major projects (-30m+)
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3 / NEC4)
• Background in energy, utilities, or substations (highly desirable)
• SMSTS (essential)
