Senior Project Manager - Development and Construction Consultancy

Fraser Edwards Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a leading development and construction consultancy in Manchester, supporting the successful delivery of complex property and construction projects from inception through to completion.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record in project management, with experience across the development and construction lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from feasibility and design through to construction and completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear and proactive project advice.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and risk.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, cost and programme objectives are achieved.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Lead meetings and provide clear, concise reporting to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Support business development and contribute to the growth of the consultancy.

About You

We are looking for a commercially aware and confident Senior Project Manager with:

• Proven experience managing development and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management, procurement and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Relevant professional qualifications or membership of a recognised industry body is desirable.
