We are looking for Senior Project Managers to join our Data Centre team in London. You will be responsible for leading and supporting large-scale, ground-up data centre construction projects with our prominent technology clients across Europe. You will also be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, from inception through to commissioning.Responsibilities
Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on different approaches to achieve the client’s objectivesLeading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parametersPlanning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issuesEstablishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the projectProject planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project planAdvising upon the procurement of resourcesLeading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project teamMonitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performanceManaging the change control processMonitoring and advising upon project financesManaging the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communicationsEnsuring the production of formal project progress and other reportsTaking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stagesOther responsibilities, including staff management (where appropriate), knowledge management, financial management and process improvementQualifications
Construction consultancy experience strongly preferredA minimum of 5-10 years project management experience, preferably within digital/data centres environmentsProfessionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architectureChartered status or on the path to achieving itThorough understanding of the full project life cycle from conception through to post-project reviewExcellent knowledge and experience of main project management concepts, tools, and techniquesDesign, management or construction experience within general construction environments (residential, office, fit-outs, health and education)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAdditional Information
