Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A leading construction consultancy in Manchester is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their established Project Management team. The Senior Project Manager will work across a varied portfolio of high-profile developments, taking responsibility for project delivery, client management and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong consultancy experience who is looking to work on complex schemes and continue progressing within a respected business.

The successful Senior Project Manager will be trusted to lead projects from the outset, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the full project lifecycle. The Senior Project Manager will also support more junior members of the team and contribute to the continued growth of the Manchester office. For an ambitious Senior Project Manager, this role offers strong project exposure, senior client contact and a clear route towards Associate level.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager will lead projects from early feasibility and design through to construction and completion.

Responsibilities will include managing project programmes, leading client and consultant meetings, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing risk and reporting, monitoring progress and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed cost, quality and programme objectives.

The Senior Project Manager will also provide guidance to junior colleagues and help maintain high standards of project delivery across the wider team.

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong Project Management experience within a construction consultancy

• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

• Proven experience leading projects through the full project lifecycle

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams

• Good understanding of project governance, risk and programme management

• MRICS, MAPM, ChPP or another relevant professional qualification, or progress towards chartership

• The confidence to manage projects with a high level of autonomy
