Senior Project Manager - Civils Construction

Senior Project Manager with experience of delivering complex civil engineering/construction projects within a highly regulated environment (rail, airport, highways utilities etc) required for a permanent position. This is a position will see you play a key role in the delivery of a mulit-billion construction programme in Essex. Key Responsibilities:Leading the delivery of complex civil engineering construction projects through the construction phaseManaging project scope, programme, resources, risks and quality requirementsCo-ordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and key stakeholdersMonitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against agreed milestonesManaging commercial, technical and construction-related risksEnsuring compliance with relevant health and safety, quality and regulatory standardsPreparing project reports and providing clear updates to senior stakeholdersSupporting effective communication and collaboration across the wider transformation programmeJob Requirements:Significant experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmesExperience of working through the construction stages of major infrastructure projectsBackground in a highly regulated industry, such as airports, rail, nuclear or waterStrong understanding of project controls, risk management, programme management and governanceExcellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities ..... full job details .....
