With a strong commitment to improving housing standards and delivering safe, sustainable homes, the organisation is undertaking a significant transformation programme across its housing portfolio.Your new role As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a portfolio of capital projects across the council''s housing stock. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering major investment programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.You will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors to drive successful outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Leading the end-to-end delivery of housing capital projects, including planned works, refurbishment and improvement programmesEnsuring robust project governance, reporting and compliance across all stages of deliveryActing as Client under CDM regulations, ensuring health and safety and risk management are embedded throughout project lifecyclesManaging procurement activity, including sourcing consultants and contractors in line with public sector regulationsOverseeing and controlling project budgets, ensuring value for ..... full job details .....
