Senior Project Manager - Capital

Morgan Law is current recruiting for a Senior Project Manager on behalf of one of our Education sector clients. Responsible for leading the planning, design, and delivery of high-value capital projects across a diverse estate.
You will take full ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle-from initial procurement and design to final handover. You''ll be the driving force ensuring our Capital Programme aligns with the organisations strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, implementing robust governance, risk management, and reporting structures.
• Technical Excellence: Oversee design, tendering, and contract management, ensuring full compliance with building regulations and statutory requirements.
• Commercial Oversight: Manage multi-million pound budgets with precision, leading procurement strategies and value engineering to ensure project integrity.
• Stakeholder Mastery: Navigate the complexities of an occupied campus, engaging with academic staff, students, and local authorities to align project outcomes with user needs.
• Sustainability & Safety: Embed sustainability policies and CDM regulations into every build, promoting a culture of health and safety excellence.

Person Specification:

• A strong background in leading on large-scale capital redevelopment projects across a varied estate, ideally within Education or a similar sector.
• Detailed knowledge of JCT and NEC contract administration
• Professional membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, or equivalent
• Experience of working on complex multi-site estate portfolios
