Senior Project Manager

BIM Recruiter is currently working with a leading design consultancy organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to take a key-role in the delivery of Civil and Structural projects across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from design through to construction delivery, while managing multidisciplinary design teams, clients, commercial requirements and project outcomes.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of Civil and Structural projects, working closely with clients, consultants, design teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.

You will have responsibility for:

• Leading projects through design and construction delivery
• Managing multidisciplinary Civil and Structural design teams
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery milestones
• Overseeing project cost management and commercial performance
• Managing project risks, issues and change
• Coordinating design development and ensuring projects are delivered to the required standards
• Working closely with contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful construction delivery
• Providing strong leadership and direction to project teams
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget

What We''re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant experience in Project Management of Civil and Structural projects
• Proven experience managing projects from design through to construction
• Strong experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• A strong understanding of cost management and commercial project performance
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, risk and change
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• A Chartered Engineer qualification, or be close to achieving Chartered status
• A strong understanding of construction and engineering delivery processes

Desirable

Knowledge and experience of NEC4 contracts would be highly desirable, particularly for candidates who have worked within complex engineering, infrastructure or construction environments.
