Senior Project Manager , you will be responsible for the planning, management, and successful delivery of a major
Overhead Line (OHL) refurbishment project
in the
Dundee area . You’ll be instrumental in driving project outcomes that contribute to the future of sustainable energy infrastructure in Scotland. This role will require regular presence at site and strong coordination with operational and delivery teams. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment, with the flexibility to travel locally and stay overnight when required to meet the needs of the project.What you\''ll be doing
Overseeing the delivery of the OHL refurbishment project, ensuring completion to the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards.Leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.Implementing project plans from initiation to completion, covering scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Managing project financials, controlling costs, and maintaining budgets.Engaging with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.Driving innovation, efficiencies, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.Supporting team development and providing mentorship to emerging talent within the organisation.Who we\''re looking for
Proven experience in delivering large-scale Power Transmission and Distribution projects, specifically OHL refurbishment and/or High Voltage infrastructure.Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to drive performance and exceed expectations.In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the power sector.Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and financial performance.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Understanding of standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work in a rural, remote location and be away from home as required to meet project demands.Why work for us
