Ref: 24747The Role:Lead end-to-end project delivery – from initiation through final acceptance testingAct as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding both technical and commercial needsManage budgets, validate financials, and ensure ongoing cost controlIdentify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategiesDevelop and maintain comprehensive project documentation (Budget, Labour Forecasts, Risk Register, Schedules, Change Management, Lessons Learned)Build and manage detailed project schedules (MS Project for complex projects), with a focus on identifying and maintaining the Critical PathReport regularly to senior leadership and clients on progress, risks, and outcomesManage scope changes through formal Change Control processes using internal toolsLead project close-out reviews, capturing learnings and driving continuous improvementThe Person:Proven project management experience within a relevant industry (e.g., bespoke capital equipment, industrial automation, engineering systems)Demonstrated success delivering multiple, complex projects with cross-functional teamsSolid understanding of capital equipment engineering and/or automation technologiesDegree-level education or equivalent, with strong project management aptitudePractical knowledge of project planning tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts, risk assessments)Strong commercial awareness, including familiarity with contractual and financial project elementsSound analytical thinking and creative problem-solving capabilitiesStrong customer service mindset with a talent for relationship-buildingA collaborative spirit with the ability to lead or contribute within a teamA continuous improvement mindset—open to new ideas and ways of workingLocated in the Dundee area, relocation assistance can be provided and the role is also open to experienced individuals based in the UK who require sponsorship.For further information call John Anderson on: 01902212000 or 07715639123.
