Senior Project Manager - Bridge Rebuilding Project Day Rate: £475-£500 per day umbrella Working Pattern: Monday-Friday Location: Remote/Home-based, with occasional attendance at Oxford offices and project sites We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major bridge rebuilding project, representing the client''s interests throughout the full project lifecycle. The successful candidate will oversee the project from initial planning and design through to completion, ensuring the bridge is delivered to the required standards for safety, quality, sustainability and environmental responsibility. This is a senior leadership position requiring strong project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with responsibility for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, engineers and local authorities. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the bridge rebuilding project from planning and design through to completion. Manage procurement and contract management activities. Monitor project progress against key milestones, ensuring delivery remains on schedule. Identify risks, challenges and potential delays, implementing appropriate solutions to maintain project momentum. Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate contractors, engineers and other professional stakeholders. Maintain effective relationships with local authorities and key project stakeholders.
