Job: Senior Project IT Engineer Location: Remote, with client visits across West and South Yorkshire Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience Contract: Full-time. Permanent The Senior Project IT Engineer is a client-focused technical leader who takes ownership of IT delivery across a designated group of customers. This includes designing and implementing infrastructure projects, providing high-level support, and building long-term relationships through reliable, solution-led service. In this role, you ll work closely with clients across sectors, including education, to understand their needs, plan future improvements, and deliver projects that align with their goals. You ll act as both an escalation point and a proactive partner, combining deep technical knowledge with a strong customer focus. You ll also support a small team, helping them stay aligned to project timelines, technical standards and the expectations of the client. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a managed service environment and be confident leading projects involving technologies such as Office 365, Windows Server, virtualisation platforms, networking and backups. You should be comfortable both working independently and collaborating closely with wider technical and leadership teams.
