Senior Project Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Project Engineer you will define, support and drive the project / work packages for the assigned Design Engineers on all equipment design and specifications. You will work alongside the Technical Lead Engineer and the Procurement Officer on all subcontractor and supplier packages as well as handle subcontractors/suppliers'' packages through delivery up to handover.

How You''ll Make an Impact

Establish and drive project work packages for Design Engineers focused on equipment design and specifications.Collaborate with the Technical Lead Engineer and Procurement Officer to manage subcontractor and supplier packages.Oversee subcontractor/supplier packages from delivery to handover.Ensure availability of technical, procurement, and quality documentation for factory acceptance tests.Attend acceptance tests and evaluate supplier/subcontractor performance.Identify and raise potential risks, variations, and opportunities with the Project Manager.Prepare Monthly Progress Reports on work packages for internal and external stakeholders.Engage in customer-facing discussions to address technical queries and manage design risks.What You Bring

Project Engineering/Contract Management experience in the Transmission and Distribution IndustryStrong understanding of Transmission and Distribution standards and technologiesKnowledge of Substation Primary and Secondary SystemsGood understanding of current Health and Safety and Environmental RegulationsFamiliarity with Risk Management processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and ability to work independentlyProactive approach to tasks and responsibilitiesAbout the Team
