Senior Project Engineer - Rail SystemsLeicestershireFull-time 37.5 hours Flexible workingAn established engineering business within the rail sector is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex control systems projects across its Rail Systems division.The RoleReporting to the Project Manager, you will lead and support the technical delivery of rail projects, from design and specification through to site activities, testing and commissioning. You will act as a key technical interface with clients, suppliers and internal teams.Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver engineering activities across rail control systems projectsProduce specifications, designs, drawings and technical documentationUndertake site activities including surveys, installation support, testing and commissioningEnsure compliance with QHSE, CDM and rail industry standardsReview and approve technical specifications, designs and multi-disciplinary engineering outputsSupport and mentor engineers, contributing to continuous improvement Skills and Experience Proven experience delivering rail control systems projectsStrong technical knowledge of SCADA, BMS, SISS and/or mobile solutionsExperience working to Network Rail, BS, ISO, Safety and CDM standardsAbility to lead technical delivery and work autonomouslyStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience producing professional technical documentationEngineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent experience) ..... full job details .....
