Join a Tier 1 contractor delivering some of the UK''s most technically advanced data centre projects. This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of complex electrical packages on large-scale, mission-critical builds in the Slough area.

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you''ll be part of a growing Building Services team within a globally recognised business, working in a highly technical environment where your expertise in LV/MV systems, controls, and power infrastructure will be key to successful project delivery.

This role suits a Senior Electrical Project Engineer who wants to step into a position with real responsibility, working on major projects while developing towards senior leadership.

Your Role As A Senior Electrical Project Engineer Will Include:

*Managing technical, quality, safety, and engineering issues across pre-construction and construction phases

*Overseeing LV/MV electrical packages including switchgear, generators, and power distribution systems

*Reviewing and driving value engineering solutions to optimise cost and performance

*Carrying out technical and commercial review of subcontractor tenders and producing bid analysis

*Coordinating procurement to ensure materials and subcontractors align with programme delivery

*Working closely with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery

*Supporting commissioning, testing, and handover of critical electrical systems

As A Senior Electrical Project Engineer You Will Have:

*Strong electrical engineering background within data centres / critical infrastructure / industrial projects

*Proven experience managing LV/MV packages across the full lifecycle

*Strong technical understanding of switchgear, generators, UPS, and electrical distribution systems

*Exposure to controls / BMS / power monitoring systems (ABB or similar highly desirable)

*Experience reviewing technical submissions and driving engineering solutions on site

*Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to procurement and subcontractor management

*HNC / HND / Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering

*SMSTS and relevant H&S certifications

*Experience operating as an LVAP (or working closely within HV/LV environments)
