Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project controls activities across a major programme area
  • Produce and maintain accurate cost forecasts aligned to CBS/WBS
  • Ensure integrity of project controls data within key systems
  • Deliver high-quality reporting with clear performance insights
  • Review and challenge estimating assumptions and risks
  • Support scenario planning and estimating workshops
  • Collaborate with risk and project teams to improve data integration
  • Engage contractors to assess risks and opportunities
  • Present insights at programme and board-level reviews
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and reporting

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in project management, engineering, or related field
  • Strong experience in project controls environments
  • Advanced expertise in estimating tools and methodologies
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret complex data
  • Experience with systems such as EcoSys, P6, or similar
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and influence decisions
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects desirable
  • Nuclear or regulated industry experience beneficial
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
