Senior Project Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a financially stable and forward-thinking public sector organisation during a period of significant change and transformation. We are seeking a finance professional with previous local authority or council experience, who can bring a strong understanding of public sector financial reporting, annual accounts and audit requirements. This is a highly visible position offering exposure to strategic financial decision-making, major projects and organisational change initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial support across the organisation, with particular responsibility for annual accounts, audit liaison, budgeting, treasury management and capital accounting.
