Senior Production Engineer Rugby / Blaby, Leicestershire Full Time £40,000 £50,000 per annumOur client is a leading UK-based laser manufacturer, renowned for developing innovative solid-state laser equipment and technology for industrial and scientific users. With applications ranging from drilling and cutting of aerospace metals through to welding, holography, optical damage measurements and plasma diagnostics.The RoleAs a Senior Production Engineer, you will have an electrical/electronic engineering background and proven industry experience. You will be involved in the design, production and programming of electrical equipment, panels, modules, lasers and machines.The role will initially be based at their site in Rugby for approximately six months, before relocating to Blaby, Leicestershire.Key Responsibilities Designing and laying out electrical panelsSupervising the production of electrical panels and modulesProgramming PLCsConfiguring and programming CNC systems, including Aerotech A3200 and Aerotech Automation 1Assisting with the production of lasers and machinesBuilding mechanical assembliesEnsuring electrical equipment and electrical safety circuits meet relevant standards and regulations What We re Looking For Graduate-level qualification or background in electrical/electronic engineeringAt least 5 years'' industry experienceKnowledge of standards and regulations relating to the design and manufacture of electrical equipment and electrical safety circuitsAbility to ..... full job details .....
