Senior Production Engineer

We are recruiting for a-Senior Production Engineer-on behalf of-a-specialist engineering-company-in-Portsmouth with a unique and highly interesting product range.

Role Summary

• Process Optimization:-Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Equipment & Tooling Management:-Oversee the selection, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and tooling, including tool designing, gauges, and fixtures.
• Lean & Continuous Improvement:-Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, defects, and equipment failures
• Automation & Technology Integration:-Evaluate and implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency.
• Equipment & Tooling Management:-Oversee the-selection, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and tooling, including tool designing, gauges, and fixtures
• Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
