Overview
This role reports in to the Chief Product Officer. The role is based at our North Acton Office and attendance at the office is three days a week when not travelling overseas to meet with our supply base. The role requires international travel.
What You Will Do
Extend supply base to de risk China and tariffs.Extend supply base to support US growth.Work with current supply base to improve relationships, lead times and quality of service to Boden.Leverage supplier relationships to improve cost prices.Work alongside Buying and Design team to ensure we have an appropriate supply base to deliver the product that our customer wants.Work alongside Garment Technology team to ensure we have a supply base that can execute make standards according to our Brand standards.Work alongside our Fabric and Sustainability team to ensure our supply base are compliant with all procedures and practices.Find and introduce new suppliers to the business where required.Negotiate terms of business that are favourable to Boden.
What We Are Looking For
Strong experience in the apparel production industry.An ability to move at pace and be agile and flexible.Experience in managing overseas international relationships.Experience in building relationships internally and externally.International independent travel.Negotiating payment terms.Negotiating cost prices.Negotiating all other Boden terms.Finding new suppliers.An understanding of the global fashion apparel global landscape.Ability to write a supplier strategy for a season.
