Our team is responsible for Amazon’s connectivity to deliver billions of shipments each year. We design and develop models to shape our network design. We optimize the way we model supply chain to scale decision making through automated processes.Description

Our team is responsible for Amazon’s connectivity to deliver billions of shipments each year. We design and develop models to shape our network design. We optimize the way we model supply chain to scale decision making through automated processes.

We are looking for a versatile Product Manager to work with our tech teams and stakeholders to implement big data solutions that provide actionable insights to the business. You will participate in the design and development of services using a wide range of AWS technologies (e.g. EMR, Lambda, ECS, Quicksight, Neptune). You will stay abreast of emerging technologies, their constraints and strengths and understand how to couple and when to use them.

Key job responsibilities

Understand the customer and the business problem formulating user storiesDesign a value proposition to solve the problem understanding technical feasibilitySynthesize technical and business requirements into product specs to be developed, understanding the tech requirements and the time estimationsMove from epics to tasks and plan accordingly using SCRUM managing delivery through release processWork on a daily basis with the tech teams solving issues with heuristics or algorithms connecting business to model, and user to developmentEscalate accordingly to ensure developments don''t get delayed/blockedCommunicate to customers and stakeholders on development status/results and manage escalations

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree or equivalentExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience as a product manager or ownerExperience owning technology productsExperience with product cycles of 6+ monthsExperience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insightsExperience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
