Senior Product Manager (Electric Vehicles) role for LiuGong BEV program in Europe. Hybrid location (UK/Europe-based with international travel). Elite has been retained to identify an experienced BEV Program Manager to lead LiuGong’s electric construction equipment rollout across Europe. Reporting to the European Product Director, this role will deliver full-lifecycle, commercially viable BEV solutions for key customers, rental fleets, and public sector operators. This is a cross-functional role collaborating with sales, engineering, product, and marketing teams in Europe, the UK, and China.Key Responsibilities
Integrated BEV Solutions and Strategic Partnerships
Define and deliver complete BEV product packages tailored to rental, fleet, and public sector use cases.Collaborate with sales, finance, and technical teams to integrate Ilink telematics, financing, and service bundles.Support key account acquisition through customized go-to-market strategies.
Product Lifecycle Management
Lead the lifecycle of BEV products from pilot validation to market scaling and end-of-life.Define specifications, pricing, and launch plans with headquarters and regional teams.Oversee readiness planning including demo programs, aftersales support, and commercial tooling.
Application Profiling and Technical Matching
Conduct field research to build application libraries and use-case databases.Match machines to application needs based on power, duty cycle, and performance demands.Develop productivity modeling and battery longevity forecasts by application type.Maintain and train teams on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculators and ROI models.Support tender responses with BEV-specific technical and financial data.Position TCO advantage as a core component of LiuGong’s value proposition.Develop training content and tools for BEV customers, dealers, and rental partners.Lead safety, operational, and compliance training for local teams and technical stakeholders.Provide hands-on support during commissioning, onboarding, and aftermarket rollouts.
Brand and Market Positioning
Build market messaging around sustainability, uptime, simplicity, and environmental compliance.Collaborate with marketing on brochures, case studies, and digital campaigns.Represent LiuGong at trade shows, exhibitions, and media events to promote BEV leadership.
ESG and Thought Leadership
Align BEV offerings with EU Green Deal goals and zero-emission mandates.Contribute to white papers, industry panels, and external thought leadership initiatives.Build strategic relationships with advisors, regulators, and industry influencers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.Experience:
5+ years in strategic product development, marketing, or program management; experience in electric vehicles, construction equipment, or industrial machinery; dealer management or key account support is a plus; strong technical understanding of electrified machinery; commercially savvy with stakeholder management; confident communicator with presentation, training, and facilitation skills.Languages:
Fluent English essential; additional European languages a plus.Mobility:
Willingness to travel across Europe and occasionally to China (approx. 30-40%).Why Join?
