Job DescriptionYou will lead a team of 4 to 6 Product Designers, coaching them, mentoring them and providing them with the direction and thought leadership needed to create extraordinary experiences. You will also partner with senior leadership to drive the strategy and execution for your domain and pro-actively sets long-term targets and goals alongside your peers in Product and Engineering.

Working in the design organisation, we have designers in key senior leadership positions and therefore you will always have support pushing for strategical initiatives across the business.

We are spread across both the B2C and B2B sides of the business, providing an end-to-end experience, for both candidates and recruiters alike.

Your responsibilities:

Manage a high-performing and business-critical team.

You will help shape the team and culture as well manage all hiring needs for your team and retain team members.

Provide clear feedback, coaching and direction to the team and enable your team to push boundaries and deliver outstanding experiences

Continually raise our bar for quality, setting the taste and providing a clear vision and standards for craft.

Alongside your Product and Engineering peers you will make strategic decisions and translate those into actionable items for your team providing clarity and the necessary alignment across the domain

You will have a full understanding of your team capacity, and you will communicate it clearly to your peers to ensure that the team operates efficiently and effectively across multiple tracks of delivery and discovery.

You will be a member of the Design Leadership Team, and you will pro-actively identify and drive wide-org initiatives and own KRs that drive the design org maturity forward.

You will be able to identify opportunities and gaps beyond your immediate team and domain, and partner with other leaders to build joint solutions and experiences.

You demonstrate resilience on a daily basis, and you can work and thrive through uncertainty and provide outstanding clarity and certainty to your team members and those within your domain.

QualificationsYour skills and Qualifications:

You have shipped real, extremely well-crafted products that had a large, demonstrable impact on real people.

You have led small-design teams that have shipped impactful and valuable products

The products and experiences that yourself and the teams you’ve led demonstrate an extremely high level of craft.

You have successfully mentored others from a craft and stakeholder management perspective

You are a skilful storyteller that can capture the hearts and minds of your audience

You can see unique opportunities that the majority would discard, to find those unique and “aha” moments.

You are able to drive execution for your team but also partner with senior leadership to drive strategical long-term items.
