Senior Product Cost EngineerLocation: Clevedon, North SomersetSalary: Up to £52,000 per annum + BonusJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWorking Pattern: HybridBenefits and PackagePackage includes:Up to 7.5% annual bonusUp to 8% employer pension contributionLife assuranceHealth cash planWellbeing programmeDiscounted gym memberships25 days holiday plus bank holidaysFree parking and subsidised canteenAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Product Cost Engineer to drive cost reduction and value engineering improvements across advanced products and components.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on identifying cost-saving opportunities, delivering design improvements, and implementing engineering changes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, performance, and compliance.Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and suppliers, you''ll take ownership of cost reduction projects from concept through validation and production implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and deliver engineering changes that reduce product and component costs.Lead value engineering initiatives across mechanical and electrical assemblies.Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials.Design, modify, and release engineering changes to improve product cost and manufacturability.Validate alternative components through testing, trials, and analysis.Work with Manufacturing and suppliers to successfully implement ..... full job details .....
