Senior Product Applications Engineer I

The Product Application Engineer is the technical specialist for Energy Management Systems (EMS), low-voltage power metering, power quality monitoring, and digital energy solutions. Acting as the link between engineering, sales, partners, and customers, the role supports the specification, deployment, integration, and optimisation of energy monitoring solutions that improve energy performance, provide asset management, reduce costs, support sustainability goals, and enhance electrical system visibility. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, power monitoring, energy management architectures, communications networks, and software platforms across commercial, industrial, healthcare, data centre, and critical infrastructure environments. While primarily focused on EMS and power monitoring, knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart building technologies is desirable as energy, electrical, and building operational data become increasingly integrated. Key Responsibilities: Technical Application Expertise Provide technical expertise in power metering, power quality monitoring, EMS software, gateways, and associated infrastructure. Support system architecture, metering strategies, communications design, and reporting frameworks.
