Hours: Office based (5 days site), 8am to 5:00pm

We''re looking for a hands-on Senior Produce Buyer to manage supplier relationships, deliver customer-focused procurement plans, and ensure the smooth flow of defined fresh produce categories. Based on-site, you''ll work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams to ensure customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
This role blends account management and procurement - a varied position for someone commercially aware, organised, and proactive.
What You''ll Be Doing:
Managing fresh produce procurement and supplier relationships
Communicating daily with customers and growers
Developing and maintaining procurement plans to maximise profitability
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring efficient rotation
Leading customer and grower projects, including visits and onboarding new suppliers
Advising Directors on commercial activity and market developments
What We''re Looking For:
Experience in fresh produce procurement
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage customer expectations
Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
Ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable plans
