Senior Procurement Manager

Talentmark are recruiting for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company putting patients at the centre of what they do. The role will be based in Hertfordshire on a permanent basis. Location: The role is based in Hertfordshire and offers hybrid working.Role:Proactively identify and drive strategies and approaches for managing and sourcing third party spend requirementsCollaborate with internal procurement (such as Business Partering, Insights, Analytics, Contracting, etc.) and business stakeholders to build and implement comprehensive category sourcing and spend management strategies aligned with business needs and functional objectives.Act as a Category and sourcing subject matter expert in Consulting Services, conducting market and internal analysis to develop strategies, best practices, and guidance on tactical plans for how the company should source and negotiate for third party goods and services in order to satisfy stakeholder requirements and maximize value.Deliver and execute sourcing strategies and major initiatives by leveraging spend, category know-how, robust sourcing, negotiation, contracting, supplier management methodologies and project management skills, and/or supporting team members by coaching them and enhancing their skills and knowledge.Develop content and automation, implement category strategies, develop category specific policies, translating sourcing strategy into content and automated buying channels guidelines, best ..... full job details .....
