Senior Procurement Manager

A fantastic Senior Procurement Manager job based in Leeds offers the opportunity to work with a team of talented procurement professionals to deliver excellent strategic procurement and contract advice.This procurement job includes the opportunity to provide a full procurement service from the beginning of projects to the end with one of your employer’s most important clients.There will be opportunities for international and national travel to help and manage commissions.Responsibilities and Duties

Provide clients with procurement advice on important projectsProvide specialist advice to clients in all sectors about procurement strategyManage procurement services from start to finish on large-scale construction-related projectsSupport the development of the company’s services to clientsProvide procurement support to ensure goals are achieved at a team levelSupport proposal documents and bid preparation workDesired Skills and Experience

Strong experience with developing key procurement strategies and/or documentation that complies with OJEU regulationsStrong experience with contract managementExperience with strategic and supply chains is essentialCross-sector procurement experience is requiredExperience with contract development and drafting, including terms, negotiation, and awardExperience with commercial modellingSC clearance is desirableConfident, independent workerExcellent communication, adaptability, and determination for successQualifications/Educational Requirements

A degree related to quantity surveying, law, or procurement is preferredMembership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is preferredEmploying Company Overview and Profile
