Senior Process Design and Development Engineer Wotton under Edge Up to 48,000 depending on experience Renishaw''s Co-ordinate Measuring and Gauging Division (CGPD) is looking for a Process Design and Development Engineer to join the Process Software Team. This is a multidisciplinary engineering role focused on the development of automated assembly and test systems used throughout the product lifecycle, from early concept evaluation through to full production. Working within a focused and collaborative team, you will design, develop, validate and implement innovative test rigs, manufacturing processes and automation solutions, combining mechanical, electrical and software engineering disciplines to deliver robust and capable systems. Responsibilities Design and develop automated assembly and test systems for new and existing products. Work closely with product development teams from concept through to production to define process and test requirements. Design, prototype and validate test equipment, tooling, fixtures and manufacturing processes. Develop software solutions using technologies such as C#, LabVIEW, SQL and VBA to control, monitor and analyse automated systems. Integrate sensors, instrumentation, motion control and data acquisition technologies into complex test environments.
