Senior Private Client Solicitor - NewcastleExperience Level: 5+ PQE to Partner Level QED Legal are excited to have teamed up with a leading North East firm who are looking for a Senior Private Client Lawyer to join their growing team. You will be joining a strong team of 14 people, with 3 existing Partners in the department. This is a unique opportunity for somebody who is keen to progress and who is looking for that next step in their career, whether that be to Partnership. The Role: As a Senior Private Client Solicitor, you''ll manage a diverse caseload encompassing Wills, estate administration, LPAs, trusts, and estate planning. Being able to handle and deal with more complex matters would be beneficial. Your responsibilities will include:Preparation and drafting of legal documents such as Wills, trusts, LPAs, and associated paperwork.Expert guidance to clients throughout probate and estate administration, including drafting legal statements, HMRC forms, deeds, and asset transfer documentation.Supervision and support of junior team members.Active participation in business development initiatives.Requirements: We''re seeking a qualified Solicitor or experienced fee earner with:A minimum of 5 years'' experience handling private client matters.Profound knowledge of private client law, encompassing wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, tax planning, and asset protection.Previous supervisory or training experience is advantageous.Ideally, membership in STEP, though not ..... full job details .....
